What you’ll learn
- Basics of Digital Electronics
Requirements
- Be able to know basic concepts of electronics
Description
- Introduction
- In the present scenario most of the electronic equipment like computer ,mobile ,music system, ATM, Automation and control system are based on digital circuits which the diploma in computer Technology, Electronic engineering pass outs have to test them. the knowledge of Number system, basic logic gates, combinational & sequential logic circuits, using discrete gates as well as digital ICs will enable the students to interprets the working of equipment and maintain them. After completion of the course, students will be able to develop digital circuit based applications.
- The power of Digital Techniques are used in industrial machinery, computers, microprocessors, house hold appliances, medical equipment, internet, e-banking etc. Here enable to assemble, design, test and troubleshoot logical circuits like:-MUX, DEMUX, COUNTERS, REGISTERS. Digital Techniques is foundation for knowledge of computers, Advanced Microprocessor and Embedded Systems.
- Competency :
- The aim of this course is to help the student to attain the following industry identified competency through various teaching learning experiences:
- Build/ test digital logic circuits consist of digital ICs.
- Course Objectives:The theory, practical experience and relevant soft skills associated with this course are to be taught and implemented, so that the students demonstrates the following industry oriented Course outcomes associated with the above mentioned competency.
